Shared-services organization

SIP edge modernization & H.323 removal

Our documented scope replaces legacy PRI/MGCP voice-edge connectivity with CUBE and SIP, and converts seven H.323 voice routers to SIP.

01

Challenge

Our scope addresses a shared-services organization’s legacy voice edge using PRI/T1 connections and MGCP, alongside seven routers using H.323. Removing the legacy protocol is a prerequisite for moving those gateways to supported software.

02

Approach

Our documented engineering scope covers CUBE licensing, SIP configuration on both call legs, PSTN and CUCM trunks, dial peers, route groups, route lists, and route patterns. The plan converts remote voice routers to SIP, removes H.323 configuration, and validates FXO/FXS-connected analog services. Pre-go-live testing uses non-production numbers, followed by regression testing and configuration backups.

03

Documented scope

Our supplied statement of work calls for validated SIP connectivity, final running configurations, updated physical and logical design documentation, administrator knowledge transfer, and day-one support. It establishes the seven-router scope but does not verify completed conversions or production results.
